Are the photos included with a purchased theme usable on a live site? I want to purchase this theme:
and i want to use the included photos.

Usually, the images used are for presentation purposes only, and do not come with the theme.
However, it’s best to ask the author directly using the comment section of the theme (see below). They will be able to tell you if the images are included, and if they are not included, the author may indicate the place they took the images from.
