PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) Error When installing bundled plugins with BeTheme

Hello,

I installed WordPress based Betheme for my website which was purchased on Themeforest/Envato.

The premium theme has some recommended plugins bundled with it. When I try to install these premium bundled plugins I get the below error:

“The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature”

The problem is only with premium bundled plugins (Layer Slider, Slider Revolution, and Visual Composer). The regular plugins I was able to install without any issues. Also, I am able to install other plugins manually via WP dashboard. Problem is only with the above mentioned theme bundled plugins.

My server environment seems to be updated.

Please let me know what could be the issue

Hi @kryptotel,

You should check if there’s enough space on your web server, also temporarily increase memory limit. I think your hosting help desk would be able to assist you.

Additionally, it’s a long shot, but please try to download the theme again from your purchases list.

I already checked the space on the web server, it is enough. Have also increased the memory limit.
All server environment items are upgraded.

Okay, I’m afraid I don’t have more ideas. I know you have contacted theme author already, but you may want to ask them how to manually install all the bundled plugins. This will involve uploading them to your plugins directory, located on the web server.
