Payoneer vs Paypal in Europe (new monthly automated payments)

Hi everyone!

Due to the new Monthly Automated Payment System (who’s affecting many-many authors here), I’ve been asked by several Spanish authors about what’s the best way (PayPal or Payoneer) for receiving their money from now on. But I don’t know because I always made withdrawals using Swift.

I’ve been exploring both, PayPal or Payoneer, but I really don’t know the exact fees/commissions. It seems it depends on the amount, exchange rate, even Payoneer says that the Fee is set by the marketplace (but I didn’t find nothing clear about what’s the Payoneer fees in Envato).

So, please, is there any Spanish author who uses PayPal or Payoneer on a regular basis and can clear our doubts? It would be great if they could explain it with an example. E.g.:

Small payments:

  • If we earn $100, how many Euros we will receive in our Bank account using PayPal?
  • If we earn $100, how many Euros we will receive in our Bank account using Payoneer?

Medium payments:

  • If we earn $1000, how many Euros we will receive in our Bank account using PayPal?
  • If we earn $1000, how many Euros we will receive in our Bank account using Payoneer?

Yo me he decantado por Paypal, estuve probando recibir en ambas y al final me salía más rentable paypal.
Creo recordar que mi decisión final fue pq payonner cobraba comisión por transferencia a la cuenta bancaria, y paypal no lo hacía.
Paypal está ahora cobrando entre un 2,5 y un 3% de comisión por cambio de divisa. En su momento payoneer cobraba lo mismo; no sé en cuánto estará ahora.
Espero que esto te haya ayudado en algo.
