Payoneer Fees

Misel are you happy with Payoneer ? can you tell the sums that you withdraw and how much money do you loose ? I am planning to withdraw for the first time and I am thinking which method to choose.

thinking about to withdraw 700 - 1000$

If you don’t want to talk publicly could you email me about your time while using it?

Here it is:

  • Envato Apr 2011 Commission Payment: 1287.95$
  • Immediate load fee payment 22****** 5.00$
  • Monthly Maintenance 3.00$
  • ATM Withdrawal International 1279.95$

    That’s it…

P.S. When you receive card you have: Activation fee (only once) $24.95

  • @Anjum: At the moment we only support ACH transfers from the prepaid card account for US residents, to a US bank account.

We do offer a local bank transfer service, with participating partner programs and countries, however you would have to either choose the prepaid card or the LBT service (not both).

@Miseld: That’s correct, the activation fee is one-time only, and if you make more than 5 transactions in a month, the next month’s monthly fee will only be $1.00.

If your Payoneer account is entirely inactive for an extended period of time, we may disable your card (mainly for security reasons). Your Payoneer account remains active, however, and you can continue to receive payments.

You can then sign into your Payoneer account at any time and automatically enable the card, free of charge (and within minutes).

    Hi Nissim,

I hope you are still reading this and can help me clarify a few things.

I’ve looked at the Payoneer fee structures (“MasterCard Card Pricing and Fees”, and “Withdrawal rates”), but I am still a bit confused. The only thing I know for sure is that the Payoneer Master Card will cost me about US$30 per year.

    So…
I live in the UK and have a GBP bank account. Let’s say I have $1000 to be paid out by Envato. What are the overall fees I’ll have to pay whilst the money is being moved onto my UK bank account?

    1. Envato pays me $1000 into my Payoneer Account. How much will Payoneer charge me for this? And is there any price/fee difference between having it paid out as GLOBAL BANK TRANSFER or as PREPAID MASTERCARD® CARD ?

    2. Once the money is in my Payoneer Account, I can then transfer it to my local GBP bank account. The fee for that is up to 2.75% above mid-market exchange rates. Is that correct?

Thanks for your help & clarification!

Even if the transaction is USD you still get charged 3%. It’s NOT the conversion fee but a cross-border fee, imposed by Mastercard. Since a bank (your card’s issuing bank) behind payoneer is offshore any transaction in a major country is basically subject to this fee, which % may vary. If your ATM asks whether or not to charge in USD or your local currency choose your local currency, as Mastercard conversion is usually lower than the payment processor’s (bank the ATM belongs to). If you still transact in USD and look at the receipt, a larger amount will be removed from your payoneer account, due to the cross border fee.

Sure, but at what point does Payoneer charge?
I mean: If I have USD 1000 earnings in my Envato account and request a payout to my Payoneer account: Will my Payoneer account read “USD 1000”? Or will there be a fee charged by Payoneer?

At a LATER point, of course, they’ll charge for conversion rates, or for using the Payoneer Master Card.

I just want to avoid being charged twice (i.e. when money goes INTO my Payoneer account, and again when it LEAVES my Payoneer account).

Firsh said If your ATM asks whether or not to charge in USD or your local currency choose your local currency.
    Thanks for the tip!!

I always got stuck on that question. Always chose USD

No matter what, I think Payoneer is the best solution out there to withdraw your money.
No need to deal with anyone, ever. Just go an ATM and take your money. Easy.

As mentioned above, it’s always recommended to withdraw in your local currency. When you choose an alternate currency offered by the ATM, what happens is that they make a double conversion. This means that they first make a transaction behind the scenes in a local currency (a conversion is made) and then convert that back to the currency you selected - so you pay double conversion charges.

When you sign up for Payoneer you have two choices:

    1. Receive payments directly to your bank account, with no option of using the Payoneer card.

For this, just choose the Global Bank Transfer Service option when applying (receive payments directly to your bank account). There is no maintenance fee here, no annual fee, no setup costs… you pay only $3.00 per transfer to your UK bank account. We send funds in GBP, using rates of only 2% above the official mid-market rate at the time of transfer. This is among the best rates you will receive from online payment methods.

    1. Sign up for a Payoneer account and also receive a Prepaid Debit MasterCard card

In this option, there is an annual or monthly fee (depending on where you sign up, whether it be from the Payoneer website or directly from Envato). The exact fees will be shown during the sign up proces.

The way it works is that payments from Envato will be sent to your Payoneer account. From there, you can either use your Payoneer card to make purchases, or withdraw to your local bank account. In this case, there is no flat fee for the bank withdrawal, and we will convert funds to GBP using the same rates I mentioned above.

I hope this answers your questions, but if not please let me know.

I would like to know one thing about all the fees from payoneer, i will make an account in the future and i was checking out all the fees when i see that payoneer have deals with stock marketplaces or freelancing marketplaces and there are different fees if you sign up with each marketplace, why are they different, or would the fees all add up to be the same? Thank you

    Hello,

The exact fees depend on Payoneer’s agreement with the partner you sign up with, and on card usage. Detailed Pricing & Fees information can be viewed on the Payoneer Payment Method page which you can access from your online account with your partner.

If you do not have an account with any of our partners and would like to receive payment using our US Payment Service, you may find detailed Pricing & Fees for a card directly from Payoneer by visiting http://www.payoneer.com/ReceiveWithdraw.aspx.

Thanks for the explanation. Just to make sure I understand the two options correctly:

Without the Payoneer MasterCard, there’s a US$3 fee per transaction. So if I get paid out by Envato every month (i.e. 12x per year), that’d be US$36 per year for fees.

In my country, there is an annual US$30 fee for the MasterCard, but I won’t have any fixed transaction fees. So the option WITH Payoneer MasterCard works out US$6 cheaper. Right?
(Not counting the 2% conversion fees, as they’re the same for both scenarios).

    Thanks again for your help!
