Not receiving notifications when purchased products are updated

I have update notifications enabled in my profile, but I’ve only received one notice in the last several months despite multiple products I’ve purchased being updated multiple times.

I’m getting all other Envato emails (invoices, freebie notices, etc.) so it’s not an email account issue, and it’s a personal domain so it’s not mail filtering either.

Is anyone else having this issue?

You can get in touch with your purchased item author about this because when any author submit an item update then they have an option (checkbox) to send a notification to the customer. may be your item author don’t check that checkbox option.

I suppose it’s possible that an author forgot to select that option, but it seems odd that 15 different authors would make the same mistake

yes you are right, it is really odd. Please open Help ticket and let them know. Envato Customer support team will be happy to check it for you.
