Hello Colleagues
One of my client from envato elements written me that he received a Content ID claim from YouTube’s automated system, which is a new update from Youtube to protect copyright music.
Not from Identiffy or Adrev.
He told me that Both of these are two different things.
I have received three the same complaints this week, so I think this is a very pressing issue.
I Would like to know how to remove such a claim? what actions need to be taken?
Thank you in advance
Hi there!
Never heard about it. Did any of the customers provided a screenshot of the claim and the dispute form? Is there no license code field to complete and lift the claims like usual?
Also interested in knowing further.
Yes, the client sent all the codes with Licenses, and provided a screenshot with claims, which looks like this.
I see… and has this video been demonetized or taken down? As far as I can see it looks just like a notification. According to the caption the video remained public, the channel working fine and there was “no impact” on the video itself.
Did the client reported any issue aside from the claim?
no, they gave me only this screenhot and the code of licence.
but anyway its interesting

This is nothing new, its how it has “always” been. They can clear the claim either through HAAWK or Youtube (the “Select action” button). If they hover the mouse over the “no impact” area they can see who has issued the claim and on behalf of who.
