New project advice

Greetings to all video artists. I would appreciate if you evaluate my new project with the deficiencies that I cannot see. thank you in advance for your help.

Hi.
In my opinion, sometimes water looks disconnected from the sand, like two different mixed backgrounds. Photo frames are too simple for a wedding video, and butterflies particles need more work to be a text transition. I think text definitely needs more work around details, more golden look, shine, etc, try to watch other items like yours. Roses and final rings really look very disconnected from the scene. Perhaps an improvement could be if you make separated layers from water, sand, roses or rings, and frames, and use them to give more depth to the project playing a bit with depth of field, focus shifts, slow camera moves and z axis (not just zoom in or out).
I hope this helps, maybe some other authors can say something else.
Good Luck! :+1:

Thank you, buddy, for criticizing me mercilessly. Actually water, sand and frames are video shoot. May be they look seperate to you cause of extreme color correction. I agree about roses and rings. I will try to compose them with scene. Also i didn’t use 3rd party plugins for butterfly particle. I thought I was pushing your limits Of cc particle world:) may be i can add some tilt shifts. And what do you think about transition are they so bright or light leaks are too much? Thank you.

Sorry, I tried to be as kind as I could, because when reviewers are taking your project into consideration, they don´t think about mercy at all  (we all authors have been through this  ). Anyway, all that is just my personal point of you, many other authors could disagree with me and that would be ok. I tried to help from my perspective. I think light leaks and light transitions are good to me.

This is the final version of my project. But I’m still not happy with some things (eg glitter effect on text)

Hi.
It still looks too flat in general I think. Photo frames are too simple and just white, no textures, no ornaments on them. And titles mixed with video footage needs more depth, no matter the golden glossy effect. Think of this, titles are golden but butterflies are white, and water blue…they don´t blend very well, it´s too much contrast. I´m just giving you my personal point of view, I´m not a wedding projects specialist :slightly_smiling_face:
I would definitely eliminate those glitters, or make them in a different way…look at this titles example to see what I´m tryin to say, I know it´s totally different but look at the mix made for titles (text, particles, glitters), everything is well composed:

If you ask me, and I have to be really honest with you, It´s not a potential approved project yet.
It would be great if some other author could give/share some thoughts about your project, and maybe correct what I´m saying. Sorry if I again sound hard.

The best advice I can give to you (and as I said, I´m not a wedding projects specialist) is that you watch many of the approved wedding items on Videohive to take the best of them and then make your very unique idea

Thank you for your honest critics🙏 Bty I´m not a wedding projects specialist either:)
The problem is photo frames are part of video footage and i can’t edit them. If they were 3d i could change them.
And i’m still trying to write golden titles on bright video footage. ( All golden title templates are on dark backgrounds. ) and agree with white butterflies. What a disonant design😄 Anyway thank you for your advices again. I’ll share a new version. Let’s see what i can do😎

Thank you my friend😊
And to anyone who would like to consult one last question:
After adding a few elements to the project (more particles), the rendering time was significantly prolonged. (it took 11 hours on my macpro 2011) but if I can’t optimize, will this be a problem during the approval process?

Maybe hardware is the reason, your macpro is 8 years old. With more upgraded hardware (CPU, GPU, RAM, etc) render should be significantly faster I guess.
