Yes, I agree with you! New authors should have additional chance to get noticed on the marketplace. It would be also great if there is additional subcategory Trending items like Popular items.
And ‘Trending’ badge should not depend on amount of sales, but it should be assigned only to the themes, which have non-standard approach in terms of design and new features in functionality.
