If some authors do not want to include third-party distribution, will there be any issues in the future after submitting the “Opt Out of Third-Party Distribution” request? Some authors don’t want items to be included in third-party distribution. Then submit a request to “Opt Out of Third-Party Distribution”?
From 3 April 2025, we will include web and code content in our future third-party distribution and licensing deals.
If you do not want your ThemeForest or CodeCanyon content used in third-party arrangements, you’ll need to opt out before11:59 p.m. AEDTonThursday, 3 April 2025.
If you have multiple accounts, please submit an opt-out form for each one you would like to opt out.
Note: Opting out of third-party arrangements will not impact your ability to sell your items on Envato as usual or your exclusivity status.

There are no reasons to opt-in because you are not going to get paid anyway.
We are all still waiting for our share after Envato partnered with Bria AI and who knows how many other companies…no one ever got a cent

We wouldn’t have the details of any AI deals yet as this only allows us to start exploring options. But authors will get paid if their items are used in future deals.
