In my opinion you wanted to do a lot of things in this composition. After a first listen I didn’t understand anything:where you wanted to go with your song. So you have: a first electric guitar in the intro(a cute melody), then another kind of guitar with another melody (that sounds like a saxophone on the first 2-3 notes), then the first guitar but another melodic line(i feel like i’ve changed songs), then the electric distorted guitar, then some kind of arpeggio, then the square sound arpeggio…then another melodic line…and I’m lost :slight_smile: Confused about my comment? Well, this is my state of mind after listening to this track.
My advice: listen to good selling tracks here and get a sense of their structure; and practice, because, as we all know, practice makes better.

To me the biggest problem is the bass. Its very muddy and undefined and honestly it sounds as if its playing different song than the rest of the instruments. Theres no connection between the chords and what the bass are doing.

Especially for the part from 0:18-0:52 and again from 1:39-2:03 there’s a problem with the bass (in my opinion) :slight_smile:
