First I have to apologize for my bad english. I hope you understand me anyway. I have a regular license for the theme Vega. The version is 1.3.6. Because of PHP 7.2 I have to make an update now. An update to the new version but shatters my site and I would have to make the site completely new. Is there another possibility?
I have to say that I have not personally installed the site and the former agency does not exist anymore. Unfortunately, I do not have much idea. Can someone help me anyway?

You are using old version and now want to update the theme. I would like to contact theme author and let them know and ask them is there any risk or how you can update the theme so that your site keep safe.
