Hi everyone,
I recently submitted a plugin focused on calendar management and event dates, but it was rejected for not fully meeting the quality standards. I’ve since made several improvements to the design, usability, and code structure.
Before preparing a resubmission, I would love some feedback from fresh eyes to spot anything I might have missed.
You can view the page here: https://desimonthdatetoday.net/
For reference, I’m aiming for a quality level similar to plugins like The Events Calendar or EventON, though my plugin is more lightweight.
Any feedback — especially on functionality, design, or user experience — would be super helpful. Thanks a lot for taking the time!
Design and execution looks very basic and lacks premium styling etc.
Honestly, this doesn’t seem ready for Envato. As a user, I wouldn’t be interested in purchasing this myself. There are so many other plugins on Envato that are far more polished and feature-rich. You need to step up the design, usability, and overall quality. Right now, it doesn’t meet the standard of what most users are looking for. It’s crucial to improve these aspects before resubmitting.
It’s crucial to step up those aspects to compete with other polished plugins on Envato. I’d also add that improving the user experience by adding more intuitive features could make a big difference. It’s great that Step is open to feedback, and I think these improvements could help elevate the plugin to the next level.
