today i became a mail from aj with this rejected reason: “Nice ideas here, but there are some passages that do not sound as well executed and/or arranged as they should, for a professional commercial application setting. So the track is great. Like they said, it’s a really good idea.
Something about it sounds off. As in, it sounds like maybe you recorded the staccato piano chords without quantizing it, then recorded the other stuff on top of it. There are times where those chords are slightly off from the other aspects of the song. Those tempo/timing fluctuations made listening to it very stressful, while it was an otherwise quality track.
How did you record everything? Was it midi data or just audio?
