Bear in mind that there is no updates or support for free items so you need to be sure that you know enough to manage and maintain it if you are using it for client work.

Yes, You can use an unlimited free theme for your client.

Just to be clear - you can only download ONE copy of each free theme and this can only be used on ONE client website
