The plugin sends the tests emails normally to any email address. So I thought it worked. But after an optin with the form that has to send the confirmation email, it does not send it to Gmail or Hotmail addresses or any other address that is outside the hosting where it is installed. That is, it will send the confirmation email to any address within Hostgator but not outside it.The interesting thing is that this happens only when it tries to send the confirmation email after the optin. It does test well for sending Test emails to any address. And the other weird thing is that I checked the email logs at hostgator and they show that the email was accepted…but it never reached the email box.
Have you tried contacting the developer of the plugin? Maybe he can lend a helping hand. Cheers!
