My first theme got hard rejection! Can you help me to improve it?

Hi,

I have submitted my first theme and I got hard rejection with no explanation of what’s wrong with my theme.

Can you help me to make improvements in my future themes by criticizing the rejected theme and show me the errors and the possible improvements and guess the reasons for rejection?

Your item is pretty poor, in terms of quality/graphics. It gives me the feeling of a FREE item, not of a premium one, which is really bad.

###What you can improve:

  • Typography hierarchy;
  • A lot of spacing issues, all over the place;
  • Get rid of the gray backgrounds. It makes your item boring and fade. Basically you have gray everywhere :frowning:
  • A lot of lorem ipsum?! But why? Add some real content + some attractive premium photos.
