My AMZ Tag Changer Plugin Got Rejected. Need Feedback

I’ve submitted the plugin after completed the all checking procedures in my website. This plugin can change all Amazon Affiliate links within few seconds. It is time saver. In the niche site world, many people are selling their amazon niche site. After changing the owner, the new owner needs to change old tags with his new own tags to make money from his/her account. Before, it was a difficult task, so from my own experience, I have created a plugin that is called Amazon Tag changers which can helps to do the task within few seconds but the Codecanyon team rejected my plugin. Can you please suggest me what was my wrong? I’ve done everything as per WordPress coding standard. Please suggest, please help. Thanks.

The CodeCanyon team likely rejected your plugin because it directly modifies Amazon affiliate links, which may violate Amazon’s Associate Program Policies. Amazon strictly prohibits automated tools that alter affiliate links without user consent. Ensure your plugin complies with Amazon’s rules and clearly states it requires manual user input for link changes. Also, double-check CodeCanyon’s submission guidelines for any specific restrictions.

Your plugin may violate Amazon’s policies by auto-changing affiliate links. Ensure manual user control and compliance with Amazon’s rules before resubmitting.

Thank you so much for your reply. As an Amazon affiliate marketer, I know changing Amazon affiliate link is not violate of Amazon TOS or any other things. There are thousands of website in flipping each month worldwide which uses Amazon affiliate links. The new buyer needs to change those existing affiliate tags with his/her new tags. But this task is very boring and time consuming. That’s why need a system to change those links within a short time.

Bulk-updating affiliate tags after a site sale is a common pain point. Maybe the issue wasn’t just about what the plugin does, but how it does it or how it’s presented. Did you include clear documentation or user prompts in the UI to ensure the user initiates and controls the changes manually? Sometimes it’s also about how safe and transparent the process looks to reviewers.
