Whenever someone is asking me about favourite movies, these two come to my mind. Maybe not all time favourite, but definetly left something in my heart:

La migliore offerta - outstanding Geoffrey Rush performance

Things We Lost in the Fire - great acting by Halle Berry and Benicio Del Toro, and a tormenting sadness all throughout.
