More forum activity = more sales/views

#12

The same here  I’m here from very late april 2018 and january and februari was great for me, I earned more than in all year 2018. But since page experiments my sales stoped. I hope it’ll change, it’s very depresing.
Congrats to your big sales !

Sorry for off-topic… What page experiments happened? I have the same problem with sales since March…
As for forum activity, I saw the sales slightly depend on it somehow, but I cannot explain why. I dont think other AJ authors’ views may have influence on sales of the track.

I guess that envato has a kind of overall health score for each user. Every thing you do (uploads, updates, surveys, forums, comments) in some way affects you envato ‘score’ and that in turn improves your position in some searches.

Just a guess.

#15

hahaha. Great stuff

#16

Probably match))

#17

I usually see an increase of sales after some forum activity, I post quite rarely so it’s more evident. Might be some kind of “ranking”, as you supposed.

#18

Guys this is a civic myth.

#19

Coincidence

#20

If this axiom would be true, it would mean that the authors with bestsellers were most active in the forums, which is not true

#21

Im not saying it’s the only way to have more sales or view. I was just curious if this happy coincidence happened with other authors too. Surely a coincidence that happens often enough stops being just a coincidence.
But still, i think it’s a coincidence. Haha

#22

All this is not true, I won three hours already reading on the forums, but there are no sales at all. And this is not because I have not yet one product in the portfolio

#23

In part, I agree that there is more activity on the forum = more views, well, and this also adds to sales.

#24

I’ve actually wondered about this as well. Even just logging in, I find sometimes I make a sale soon after logging in, but that’s probably just a coincidence, or just the universe reminding me to write more music.

#25

I also think that this is a coincidence, but there are too many such cases to be an accident :grin::grin:

#26

Lets test it out

#27

Coincidence? Let me just test it out

#28

Yep, some weird correlation between posting here and accidental sales. My theory is that people are just checking the poster’s profile out of curiosity, thus helping him rise in the search engine results. But it only works for a limited time.

And btw, everyone, feel free to listen to my tracks, follow me, etc. :stuck_out_tongue:

#29

Well, I hope this reply increases my sales too. They’re not bad, but could always be better. Broadcast licenses please!:trophy::musical_note:

#30

Surely this is just a myth.

#31

Really? Ok, I’m active) Test test test)
