mobile devices images squeezed - Patti theme

I have been using this theme for a long time and have never had any problems.
Lately I have noticed that the images inside all the articles are squeezed horizontally,
even links to videos, the preview is squashed.
They look good on the desktop computer.
The problem is only for mobile devices.
I load the images at a low resolution of 600x400 pixels.

If this is a long time ago probably the author will force you to renew subscription, am i right?
