MegaNews - Hard Rejected

Hi,

Today, I got the hard rejection for the first item that I submitted to themeforest. Here’s the reason they gave:

Thank you for your submission. We have completed our review of “MegaNews - Responsive WordPress News, Magazine, Blog Theme” and unfortunately we found it isn’t at the quality standard required to move forward, and you won’t be able to re-submit this item again.

Here is the comment from your Envato Quality team reviewer:

  1. Any incomplete, not prime-ready, outdated, bland or copied themes are hard rejected. Major improvements are required!

Hi:

I think that you copied other design for so hard rejected. you can make new idea html but you can see for example other design for give ideas but NO copy.

News editorial category is a very competitive category any simple mistake could result in hard reject. At least the reviewer give you a comment which is good thing, Look at the other multipurpose news themes and try to make it compare to them.
