The thing is, you don’t hear distortion BEFORE mastering. Perhaps they are already in the MIDI.
Mastering them can strengthen them, Facebook will definitely strengthen them (it compresses the phonogram like hell), and then the compression of your iPhone and very bad speakers will intervene …
Conclusion: there are too many of those factors that introduce distortions. The source must be clean (relative to THD). I’m pretty sure there is phase distortion as well. you will not hear them on stereo speakers, and iPhone speakers are mono sound. :wink:
