lately, all WP categories start from best seller https://themeforest.net/category/wordpress/corporate I was wondering what is the reason for that?
Surely it is a nice gift for all the most sold themes, but don’t you think it’s very negative and no incentive for new authors and new themes?
What interest will I have if I want to create something new tomorrow and I have no visibility?
I would like to know your opinion.

They are running some kind of experiment to see how Envato profits are hiked when they change the default filter to “Best Sellers”
This change is not permanent though. They will change it “New Items” but the official date for this is still not announced.
