My Question is something different. What i am wondering is can we opensource the script that we purchase under regular or extended license so that we can improve that script quality as well as we can serve the community that really wants to do something innovative and also wants to serve the community by giving back.
That would not be allowed, and I highly doubt the author would be OK with that too.
Some authors have private repos on GitHub, Bitbucket, etc. and are willing to add buyers as collaborators upon request. I’ve seen a few here and there. It may be worth asking the author of the script.
