Well, with today’s virtual instruments and effects quality I don’t really want to start the never ending digital vs analog battle.
But I think that having something real in your hands invites you to experiment more with the sound. I recently got a Minibrute, which has of course no presets and for me it’s a pure joy messing with the knobs until I find the perfect bass sound. Doing the same using a mouse is not the same thing
