plus this expansion:

(used in my “Jazzy Jingle Bells” for example)
Thanks Mat, it definitely sounds pretty convincing in your Jazzy Jingle Bells.
It is rather pricey though… maybe someone knows of a good Kontakt library so I don’t have to buy an entirely new software + expansion?

Native Instruments Battery has a pretty large jazz kit with some decent brush sounds. Battery also has like 40 other kits with a huge variety. I use it quite a bit. Between those kits and a little tweeking, you can get any drum sound you need.

OK guys, thank you very much! I will look into this.
Addictive Drums have nice brushes.
Soniccouture has a free Brush kit, I think you just have to register on their site to download it. If I remember correctly, it’s a little weird in that it doesn’t follow the General Midi Drum Map, but it’s probably useable if you spend some time with it.
Hey, thanks Adam! Pretty decent for a free kit. And they have other cool instruments as well!

Downloaded all those free samples and I definitely can see why they are free… So lame, kept none of them.
