good work in my view, especially when it comes to the orange version on the grey background by the way , no idea why it has been rejected … maybe typo again … but for me it makes harmony and thus it works …

It may be the font, it’s too small and for me it doesn’t connect as a type with the logo. Also i think refining the shapes would help, for example the biggest wing has some flaws on drawing, the second too. see here. Also give the phoenix a little space with the circle, it seems too tight, the space of the head from the circle is so small. That’s my opinion. Good luck.
