Actually I don’t understand. I’ve downloaded Layerswp.zip (1.1.2 version) installed a theme. Build from scratch a template. Customized fonts, colors, created some blocks… etc. Now I should save it? Export Sample Data and that’s it? Upload to Themeforest? Or should I somehow make outta that a child theme, add some code changes like from here: http://docs.layerswp.com/theming/

Feeling myself like a noob.

I have a question. Layers has 4 default widget.
Let’s say I want to create preset using my custom widget and get the json via ‘Export Layout’. But somewhere in docs I read this :

Build your pages starting with a blank page. When designing for the general public, only Layers widgets should be used, as 3rd Party widget data is not saved by our export function.

Any Ideas about this?

No. Existing approved WordPress themes are not elibigle for this contest only conversions of existing Site Templates and PSD’s into Layers Child Themes are eligible.

Congrats on being the first Only items uploaded on or after April 30th are eligible. You’ll have to create another theme to enter.

I don’t think Layers uses Bootstrap framework for the front-end but let me get back to you with a definate answer.

Hey there,

You can either use our content widget for this, (one row set to 12/12 width and the others to 3/12 each), or you can add a Slider widget with a single slide and a content widget below it.
