I hope this message finds you well. I am currently looking for a Learning Management System (LMS) theme that allows users to register for specific subjects. Once registered, they should only have access to the courses related to their selected subject, with the ability to download the course materials.
Could you kindly assist in recommending a theme that supports this functionality?

Not sure if you’re able to manage within a specific theme but with few plugins such as “user management” you may be able to achieve what you’re looking for maybe with minimum coding/customization.
Can this plugin work with a LMS plgin?
In theory, it should but not sure, you gotta download/install and check.
