Linstar Packages Selection Not Working On Both My Websites

I do have two licenses and contacted King themes help center.
Was told I’m ‘not’ on the latest theme.
The King Themes tech guy said:

“I can not update to newest version of theme because
I do not know you editor files or not.”

I have no idea what that means.
Can you please help me understand what he’s talking about?

Can I get him to update my theme, or do I risk losing everything on the site?

It sounds more like a hosting or PHP issue but the author is the best person to help. Are you using the latest version of the theme (released in April of this year)?

Please note: if you are using the theme on two different sites then you require a license/copy for each installation and will need the p/code details for each for the author to help with both sites.

There’s no obligation for them to update it for you and in theory it should be quite simpl.

Most likely the reason they are hesitant to do it is because of the many reasons that could cause a problem eg if you have made any adjustments or customisations to the core files etc.
