Licensing & Creating a logo with elements

I’m looking at creating a logo for a social justice charity, so there’s not a lot in the way of budget, but I’d like to make sure I can use it in the way I want to before I purchase anything.

For example, if I was to take these mascots of a Barber, Spaghetti chef, and Burger chef

Can I use parts of each to make a new mascot? Say I like the head on one of them, and the arm position of another, or I want to swap the spaghetti plate and the burger plate? and maybe I add my own kitchen utensils to the image.

Can I then use this as a logo for a webapp? …and reuse the new logo to publicise it? I might need to print it. I’ve no aims of selling merchandise with it on it, but does that include something like selling a tshirt at-cost?

In theory this is ok (as long as you are not trademarking) but it might be best to check with Envato Elements Help and Support for an official answer esp. because of the use in multiple locations

Ah, thanks for the link. I was trying to do that, and the help page all try to direct you to articles and forums before contacting anyone!
