If another developer used the Solicitor theme to create a website and now the site owner has transferred site maintenance to another company (us), would the theme license transfer to the site owner?
Depends if the original dev handed over the license the first time around.
Given that you won’t get support or updates then it may be wise you buy your own license/copy and resolve that
Okay, let me ask that developer if he has the license key to hand over to the client. If he shares that license key, then the client would get support, right? It seems to me in that case the client would have paid for the theme license.
no, the client will not get author support. Support only for the original purchaser account. If client need support and also auto update features then have to purchase license from their own account. Thanks
