I have had to update the URL that I initiatially started building the site on with the purchase code.
dev.abctravel.com.au /wp - which I’ve now moved to the following domain to start again
dev.abctravel.com.au (without the /wp)
I’m trying to activate the theme, but it’s saying it’s assigned to “dev.abctravel.com.au/wp”
Whats happening here? How do I “unassign” the purchase code?

you need to unregister/deactivate the license from your website wp-admin. In your pruchased theme options should have options for both register and unregister theme license.
If you don’t have access of old website wp-admin where the theme registered/activated then you have to contact theme author and request them to unregister/deactivate the theme license for the old domian/website.
contact theme Author and let them know How to Contact your purchased theme Author, theme author will be happy to assist you.
