Licence terms Item/End Product

I am new to Envato Elements and to me the terms “item” and “end product” are still a bit confusing.
If I for example download an envato elements stockvideo (item) and add some text or audio comment, would you consider this to be an end product which is covered by the envato elements licence?

Hi,

Here you will find some helpful article about envato elements license

Hope Helpful for you.

Thanks!

Hi

your download will be the “Item”. And The “end product” is a customised version of the item, which you’re planning to use for your own purpose, which will cover by elements license. Hope you understand.

Thanks

Hi @JohnSealand!

Welcome to the forum! Just to avoid any possible confusion, keep in mind that is strictly forbiden to use music assets downloaded from Elements in any kind of broadcasted end product. That is:

(a) Traditional television or radio broadcast (e.g. terrestrial, cable or satellite TV, broadcast radio); or (b) Mobile or online substitutes for traditional television or radio broadcast (e.g. mobile TV, IPTV (streaming TV or video-on-demand), streaming radio).

You can read further on clause 17 of the License Terms.

Music Item special terms

17. For music Items, the rights granted under this license are subject to the following restrictions:

    1. Broadcast use is not allowed. Please contact us if you wish to use the music for Broadcast.

Hope it helps!
