I opened trusty old AE CS5.5 today and realized that when I went from Mavericks to El Capitan, the app broke. More specifically, the cursor seems to click off target, making it impossible to actually do any productive work.
I read elsewhere on the web that Adobe has abandoned updates anything lower than CS6, so this will not be fixed… I have CC for client work, but would like to produce templates on older CS versions to maximize adoption by Videohive users… But it looks like you can’t get CS6 anywhere any longer… And it is a real pain to roll back to Mavericks (Would have to wipe my drive).
Does anyone have a solution? Should I just make my next templates in CC? Will people still buy them? What is the most common CS version of VideoHive users?
