LayerSlider or Revolution Slider?

Which of this two premium sliders do you prefer on your wordpress theme?
And why?

Revolution

Why do you think so?

wopeslider

Question: how will you allow your buyers to upgrade with new versions of the plugin for any of these ā€˜premiumā€™ sliders - as a buyer cannot download when there is an update and this could cause their sliders to stop working in the future if something breaks due to a jQuery update or WP update etc.

Just curious as this is why I do not include any plugins from CC.

I donā€™t have any themes, but the usual procedure is to just update the theme package with the latest version of the plugin. Usually with that comes template update, bugfixes etc.

You think so? Mmmm... maybe you are right, but those plugins are pretty awesome and much famous, so if they are included in some theme, i think that theme will have more sales than without that plugin. So you provide themes with jquery based slider with a backend options panel for that? I've already know how to do that, but i think that, for example, "revolution" is better that "flex" slider, you dont think so? Maybe it's a confusing topic but i hope you will understand :)

Sorry for the lack of details.
Iā€™m (also) the support staff for ThemeFusion (Avada) and they include both, I just happen to find the Revolution slider much more user friendly, easier to handle, less buggy and more compatible. Itā€™s mighty. The developers seem to be reliable as well when it comes to taking care of bugs that are being reported.

@ jonathan: You would release a theme update as soon as the plugin gets updated.

Cheers!

I donā€™t think you can include plugin from Codecanyon in theme for sale anymore: http://notes.envato.com/news/marketplace-license-upgrade/

Iā€™ve contacted Envato Support with this query today, hope Iā€™ll get an answer soon.

Sorry if i sound harsh, but i would be happy to hear that is not allowed any more, because i am really sick of all the themes with the same freaking slider. No creativity at all!

Well if thatā€™s so i think itā€™s not a very nice action. Big themes earned big ( BIG ) money for including bought plugins with their themes, and if thatā€™s not allowed anymore itā€™s not fair for the people planning to do so. Even the plugin authorā€™s themselfs use the use of their plugin in a well doing theme as marketingā€¦

So if this wonā€™t be allowed anymore ( or just more clearly written because it wasnā€™t allowed already ) thereā€™s something wrong. Iā€™m curious what they gonna do about the mayor themes using one or even more premium plugins in their themeā€¦

Someone was kind enough to tell me that ā€œAuthorsā€ who already purchased a licence can only include that plugin in 1 theme.

You could only include a item from CC only one time. For each theme released, you needed to purchase an extended license each time.

So thatā€™s nice
