Is it possible you’re uploading the wrong file?

When you download the theme from ThemeForest, you need to extract it on your computer first. Then you should see another .zip (or multiple) inside, which is the actual theme to upload.

Probably you’re downloading the “full theme pack”. Within the ZIP, you may need to get the “theme files” only.
