Geting 500 internal server error while import the demo content

“500 Internal Server Error” is a general error message and doesn’t contain enough information to give you a definitive solution.

First, contact your web host and ask them to provide you with the full error information from their logs. You may also ask them to check if the error is something they can fix for you on their side.
