Issue Accessing Envato API – Error 403 While Logged In

I’m experiencing an issue while trying to access the Envato API. The following error message appears:

“Failed to load the signed-in user’s profile: The API returned an error (403 -). To manage your apps, you first need to sign in with your Envato account.”

However, I’m already signed in with my Envato account.

I’ve tried the following steps to resolve the issue:

  • Confirmed I’m signed in with the correct account.
  • Verified my API token and its permissions.
  • Cleared browser cache and cookies.
  • Attempted to access the API from an incognito browser window.

Could you please help me understand what might be causing this 403 error, and how I can resolve it?

I can’t find your account in the Envato market. Are you sure you have signed in to envato market https://themeforest.net/?

Please note Envato API will work only for users/buyers of Envato market.

Thank you for the clarification. Sorry for the confusion. I registered on Envato Elements (https://elements.envato.com/) and thought it was the same ecosystem as Envato Market.

After your response, I logged into my account through ThemeForest (https://themeforest.net/). I’ve also checked and can see that API access has now been granted. I hope everything will work correctly now.
