Is this practice allowed?

These are the ones I noticed that seemed extremely similar (most recently published). There was another extremely identical one that was uploaded on a different account but that one actually does seem to have been removed.

My intention isn’t to blast this author as doing something wrong but just to provide context for the discussion. Are tracks “EDM On”, “The EDM On” and “For EDM” too similar? does this specific instance violate the rules?

I think its a YES, and I got this

Im not the only author who experience this kind of serious problem.

How on Earth is this possible that the same track on different accounts can be made available for sale whilst the vast majority of authors abide by rules set out by Envato are followed. Where is the community spirit?

Something has to be done before it gets out of hand. There are two real examples in the last week, who knows how many are there. There is nothing wrong with competition but when someone does this is it goes under cheat. I really hope Envato is watching this and considering options to prevent this problem now, when it’s still manageable.

…and behind those accounts is a weekly top seller…

Funny situation  Someone comes to write music, and someone to make money … do you feel the difference …? Do not be surprised if the presented tracks are on other audio stores

Indeed, I would think Envato would care very much about blatant reproduction of Exclusive tracks to other stores. If these authors are misbehaving under Envato’s purview, then what’s preventing them from doing it across the stock music market? Finding misbehavior here could be used by Envato in some way to investigate specific authors’ potential violations of their Exclusivity Agreement - grounds for account shutdown.

I don’t think it’s allowed, but there’s more than 500000 music tracks, I think it must be very difficult to control all of it.

And this is were we come in… you see this happening and don’t like it? Send a ticked to envato and mention the names and tracks.
Envato WILL do something about this ,rest assured… just don’t expect that the review team can find these dirty cheaters manually.
So either we do it, or they will keep cheating.

The “funny” thing is that he sells them all!

I got a ticket opened about this. I had sent this track.
Thank you.

do you think that in about 1 month from now AJ will be comprised of 500,000 of the same track found on 10 different accounts?

When you go through his portfolio you find like 10 or more variations of the same track- instruments used, melody, mood, tempo, length, tone, key, everything. Pathetic.
