Is there any room left for a newbee theme developer?

Hi people,

I am in the web development business for 14 years now. I am developing custom designed websites for my clients. This usually means developing custom designed Wordpress theme as well.

I would love to give it a try on Envato, so I am reaching to your community for tips and suggestions. Is there any room left? I guess my advantage would be that I know what the end user wants and thinks he needs.

Building for stock sites is definitely not the same as building in an agency or as a professional freelancer, and the priorities need to be very different

If you bring original and high quality work then there is a big opportunity as the marketplace continues to grow.

Of course there are more and more authors and items but this simply emphasises the importance to understanding what to create and how to market it
