Is it scam?

I am super surprise after purchased theme. I brought a theme on August 2022 after installation the theme faced lots of problem.I had contact with author and he require extra charges for fix this issue.
However,
On several problem is appeared, i try to contact author and sent ticket also. But no response.

Any one has idea that is scam or just playing to consum money?

Please advice…

It’s impossible to judge without knowing what the issues are and seeing the item but you can always talk to support if in doubt
