Is a theme a better approach than this?

Hello,

I’m trying to make this Wordpress website better and wondering if a custom theme is the way to go. [link removed by mod]

Here are the current plugins that provide functionality for the site:

  1. Ultimate Member for user registration and profile creation
  2. AccessPress Anonymous Post Pro for creating projects
  3. Elementor Pro for designing much of the front end
  4. ACF for some other things

The site works ok, but not great. For example, if a user tries to edit a project after posting it, the system breaks. AccessPress Anonymous Post Pro does not offer that functionality, and I’m not sure how the editing functionality was built.

Is there a theme I could buy that would be a better approach?

Isn’t Anonymous Post Pro made for allowing guest posts and non-logged users? How can they edit?
