EVERY page on your site has 1/3 of the page covered by your ‘cookiebot’ stuff! - this is very annoying - it covers up password positions… FORCES you to reply to it EVERY SINGLE TIME! and YOU CAN DO BETTER!
Could you let us know if your issue is related to Envato Market, Envato Elements, or a specific theme/code purchased from Envato? If possible, could you also share a screenshot?
Hello, it’s the WHOLE ENVATO website… here’s a Video, and a few pictures showing the problem…
It’s annoying! - your desire to show a COOKIE thing… is covering up portions of your site!
Edward
(Attachment Cookie2.mp4 is missing)
By the way… it happens EVERY SINGLE TIME! - even if mark the Preferences…
Edward
And your system won’t let me upload an MP4… to show you how instrusive it is…
Edward
@Estacey2013 Thank you for sharing the screenshots.
Are you using any browser add-ons like Ghostery, AdBlocker, or similar tools? Certain privacy extensions and ad blockers can interfere with cookie consent banners, sometimes blocking the scripts or settings needed to save your preferences.
NO I AM NOT! - stop trying to make it “MY FAULT” for the POOR PERFORMANCE of your system…
I BUY ENVATO MATERIAL… therefore I am the CUSTOMER… the PAYING CUSTOMER! and you may not miss my money… nor my REVIEWS of your SERVICE… but I’m sure everyone faces the same INTRUSIVE COOKIE PAGE! that takes up a full 1/3 of the page!
Your comments are INSULTING! -
Edward
I apologize if my response came across that way—I didn’t mean to imply it was your fault or to place any blame on you for the issue. I’m not part of Envato; I was simply trying to help. You mentioned that the cookie consent banner is still appearing even after clicking “Save Preferences.” I suggested that certain browser add-ons might be blocking your preferences from saving. In countries like the U.S., it’s required to display cookie consent to users, and Envato uses Cookiebot for this purpose. You can share your feedback about the issue directly with Envato through this URL:
LISTEN! to a tech savy customer!
I KNOW, the cookie Banner is required… I don’t mind a ‘Cookie Banner’ on many of the sites I visit and even on sites I create!
BUT THE SIZE OF THE ONE ON YOUR SITES IS… INTRUSIVE!!! - DON’T YOU GET IT?!! IT TAKES UP NEARLY 1/3 OF THE SCREEN!!
Because YOU USE a COOKIE ROUTINE that ‘Doesn’t care how much of your pages it covers!’
I won’t stop complaining about it, BUT I MAY… stop visiting your sites!! - and seeking other places to purchase routines…
Edward
