The design tools landscape has changed in the last few years, and with that comes more opportunities for our authors!
We’re happy to be announcing the launch of two new categories on ThemeForest - Figma and Adobe XD templates!
Figma is a user interface design tool that allows real-time-collaboration, while Adobe XD is a vector-based user experience design tool for web apps and mobile apps.
These two categories will be launched no later than May 1, and you can start uploading items for review from today!
For further details on submission requirements please read through the below:
Along with the above additions, we’ll soon be introducing industry/niche sub-categories for Sketch templates. If you have items within the Sketch category already, we will be assigning them to one of these sub-categories, but we recommend that you check these and change if necessary.
As mentioned above, we think there is a lot of opportunity within these new categories for our authors, and we’re excited to see what you all bring to the marketplace!
Very happy to see this. Figma & XD are incredible platforms for designers. I can’t wait to see the creative submissions of fellow authors and to submit my work.
Great news for us that works in XD in last couple of years. I have been trying to place my elements from XD on market few times over the past 3 years, but you did not have niche for that. So hopefully now when the industry market has overdone with XD and Figma templates, I hope this will be sweetspot for marketing templates.
Thanks for that great opportunity. I’ve submitted a Figma template for review almost 3 days ago and the item is still in queue. Is there any information about approximate review timings on these new categories? https://quality.market.envato.com/themeforest Here there are still no new categories.
@anon7826047 all right, I’ve read that. But does it mean that a non-elite author can submit only 1 item until May 1st? Because my current submission reserves the queue and I’m not able to upload anything else.
Hi @anon7826047 and @ArtemSemkin, thanks for bringing this to our attention we’ve now updated the submission limits so that non-Elite authors can submit up to 10 items. We’re looking forward to seeing your items!
Oh wow, this is incredible. I have created several XD Designs over the years, suppose I can put some of them up for sale to make my entrance back into the Marketplace. (I have been inactive for 5+ years)
