Integrating Google Analytics GA4 with Codecanyon Pages

Hello everyone,

I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to bring to your attention that starting from 1st July, Google GA4 will be effective. This means that the guide found at https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408007268505-Google-Analytics-Conversion-Tracking-Tutorial may become outdated.

I’m reaching out to the community to see if anyone has information on how to use GA4 with Codecanyon pages. I would appreciate any insights or guidance you may have.

Hi Sandeep.

I’m waiting on some more information from our Analytics team about this - as I understand it, GA3 and GA4 have fundamental differences in what they track, and so there’s a significant amount of work going into redesigning the event structure for our data. We’re still aiming to make behavioural data available to authors after Google sunsets GA3, but I’m not yet sure of what format that will take.
