Inspiration source (w/examples) for non-obvious Composer/Bakery layouts?

Basically, anybody can use something like:

1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4
1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4

for a page. Or even two rows of 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/4.

… But it takes a bit of a gift to come up with something like:

1/2 (header) + 1/4 + 1/4
1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4

Of course, this was just a simple example.

You gotta have talent or experience, you can’t just become like the best designers overnight. But I guess there must be a tutorial somewhere or an e-book or article suggesting some non-obvious Bakery/Composer layouts that are better than what you could come up without such help. I see consistent patterns among ThemeForest’s best designers, so there must be some theory behind this, some sort of industry practice, not just individual intuition. Somehow, I don’t have much luck finding any.

Can somebody think of some such resource and drop some links?
