I'm unable to activate my plugin

I’ve managed to get my authorization token but i still get the following message :

WordPress Automatic is ready. Please [Click Here] to add your purchase code and activate the plugin.

Hi there @spagulaxx!

A purchase code is not the same as a token. If it is asking for a purchase code, you can find this in your downloads. See this link for instructions: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202822600-Where-Is-My-Purchase-Code-

Hope that helps!

Thank you. I do have my purchase code

On my WP dashboard i have the following :
WordPress Automatic is ready. Please [Click Here] to add your purchase code and activate the plugin.

When i click on the link i have two choices
envato

Where do i have to fill my purchase code then ?

Ah, okay! I was deceived by the alert you posted.

Please try this link to generate the token:
https://build.envato.com/create-token/?purchase:download=t&purchase:verify=t&purchase:list=t&user:username=t&user:email=t

This link has the necessary permissions for the plugin to get your purchase code through the token.

Sorry for the misunderstanding

I got the token, went back to my WP dashboard, filled in my token but the following warning remains

WordPress Automatic is ready. Please [Click Here] to add your purchase code and activate the plugin.

At this point I recommend that you contact the author of your plugin for support. ValvePress is the author of the WordPress Automatic plugin and their support info is here: https://codecanyon.net/item/wordpress-automatic-plugin/1904470/support

Hi

Assuming you are talking about Bundled plugins. If yes then I’ll be happy to clear this for you.

Theme Bundled plugins do not have their own licenses. This means they cannot be activated mean registered for updates. So you can safely ignore any plugin activation/registration messages.

All bundled plugins update responsibility is the theme’s author. Just always download the theme latest version to get latest update plugins and update bundled plugin manually.

If you really want to auto update features by one click then you have to purchase individual license for the plugin(s) and you have to registere/activated the license.
You can check this Help article:

Thanks

Sorry for the confusion @mgscoder - I think they were asking about a plugin they purchased, but when I moved their post to its own thread I chose “theme” for the name mistakenly.

@spagulaxx - if you did purchase a theme (from ThemeForest) which came with this plugin, then yeah, it is the theme author you should contact. But if you purchased the plugin directly from CodeCanyon then the support link I gave above is the correct one.

For now I will update the title as it looks like I made a mistake. :stuck_out_tongue:
