Could anybody with some experience getting approved for their works give me some feedback on what this instrumental is lacking to get a hard rejection for commercial quality?

It’s pretty horrible in terms of style/genre to me so I can’t really give feedback on that. The mixing and mastering doesn’t sound as polished as it could be though.
It’s not always hard to point out exactly why a reviewer rejected a track, there’s going to be a certain amount of subjectivity involved. Just keep striving to get better.
