The old forums will remain live as an archive for at least the near future, I believe 
They can’t be used for new posts or replying to old threads though - they simply serve as a resource for past discussions.

I still have a search now and then on the old forums, but I’m warming to the new forums more and more lately. They are far more feature-rich and modern for a start. The only problem I have is the main page still looks cluttered and unorganised - a format such as the older forums would work nicely here. One thing I do miss though from the old forums is being able to display our badges!
